Bring recuperation to your organs, nervous system and consciousness. Long supported holds soothe the mind and encourage an inward focus. Restorative postures and props combine to bring a calming end to the week or weekend. All levels of students can benefit from this soothing, slow paced class. The class will end with a Singing Bowl sound session.

Gentle Yoga @ Better Living Yoga
This class will introduce you to the basic foundational poses and techniques of yoga. You will learn a basic group of warm-ups, asanas (physical poses), basic breath awareness and deep relaxation. You’ll be taught safe alignment and proper breathing in each pose so that you can experience the benefits of yoga from the very first class. You’ll learn how to modify any of the poses to make them accessible to your individual needs

Deep Rest @ Better Living Yoga
Deep Rest is a one hour class combining gentle yoga, yoga nidra, and Tibetan bowls sound meditation. The class will begin with gentle and restorative postures designed to prepare the body for meditation and then we will rest in Savasana for the yoga nidra and sound meditation practice. Yoga Nidra is an immensely powerful meditation practice that induces a state of deep, but conscious relaxation which calms the nervous system, leading to less stress and better health.
