About Me

As an immigrant I grew up trying to integrate two cultural frameworks; my life prompted me to ask big questions, such as “Who am I?” and “What is my purpose?” at a very early age. This curiosity grew stronger while studying Philosophy at Wellesley College and Anthropology/Tibetan Studies at the University of Virginia. Intellectual interests brought me all the way across the world to Tibet, a place where my spirit was ignited, and a completely new path of personal growth opened in my life: I came into contact with Yoga and Meditation, and had my first taste of what it means to live beyond my conditioned experience of the world.

At the same time, painful life circumstances and personal health issues intensified my search for deeper understanding and alternative ways to heal myself. I became interested in ways to address the questions of suffering and freedom. I wanted to understand what causes suffering and how to become free of it. For the past decade, my search took me all over the world to India, Greece, France, China, Sweden, Thailand, Bali, Mexico, Switzerland, and the United States. I studied various wisdom traditions, wellness modalities, and personal development methods. I have also worked as an interpreter for English-speaking personal development trainers, coaches, and therapists who conduct training and workshops in China, building bridges across cultures.

My journey of healing and discovery healed my personal trauma and health issues and enabled me to experience the physical and mental freedom I was seeking. It also enabled me to work with many people to create transformations in their lives. Now, I live in Southern California and continue this journey by offering movement, meditation, and wellness classes and sessions. As a life-long learner, I regard my classes and sessions as opportunities to continuously discover myself and learn about myself, other people, and life; I learn as much from my students and clients as they learn from me. My passion is to alleviate the sufferings of others and enable them to live their highest potential.
